We explored wind energy by creating our own sailboats since they are a common example of wind energy. Students discovered which sail shapes makes the fastest boats. Once that sailboats were built, we had races with each other to see which sails worked the best!
What a great lesson. Your students look very engaged in the task. I love the rain gutters and fan. I'll have to use this idea in our Boats & Buoyancy Unit. I love your ideas and your blog.
