100th Day Celebration!

Last Friday we celebrated the 100th Day of School.  Students came to school wearing 100 items of their choice.  Then the created their very own $100 bill.  We spend the afternoon reading a story, making patterns, designs out of the numbers 1-0-0, making paperclip chains to measure with, and enjoying a 100 snack:)

Hungry Little Hare

Our story this week was called, "Hungry Little Hare."  We sequenced the events from the story and then created our very own hare disguised in the snow.  The students had fun painting with shaving cream/glue mixtures.

Sound is Music

In Science, we are studying Energy.  As a take-home project, the students were given the task to be an instrument inventor.  They had to design an instrument.  They really enjoyed presenting their instruments to the class and playing in the class band!
