Community Workers

In Social Studies we are currently studying community workers.  We are also learning about different places that provide our community with goods and services.  As a take-home project students made a list of people who provide our community with goods and services.  Then, they chose 1 job they would like to have a created dressed a paper version of themselves.  Finally they designed a business card for their person.

If you'd like a copy of this project you can purchase it from Teacher's Notebook.  Just click on the picture below!  Thanks:

  1. Hi, I was wondering if you are able to share the community worker pattern and corresponding page. Is it a pattern from a book or is it something you made? If you are able to share- I would love to have a copy!

  5. I agree with Anonymous...I absolutely love the community worker idea. It turned out so cute and really got them to think about the different jobs. Was the assignment completely done at home, or just the decorating of their paper person? Can you please share with me the templates? Thank you so much!!!

  9. To me that appears to be somewhat high. On the off chance that you are burning through 1 hour for each day, the expense is $2.66 every hour. To me that appears to be a great deal more moderate. I'm not saying that you shouldn't go to the rec center, yet ensure you know the amount it is truly costing you. Check Cashing
